Reception Uniform
The school is proud of its uniform and all of our children wear the school colours. We firmly believe that smart uniform and appearance are very important. They provide our pupils with an identity and signal a belonging and commitment to our school community. They also reflect the high standards and expectations that we set throughout the school. We therefore insist that all pupils wear the correct and complete uniform to school, details of which can be found below.
Please ensure your child arrives ready for their school day correctly dressed in the correct uniform and that it is clean and in good repair.
Reception children need to wear a navy jumper/cardigan (which can be plain or with the Harriers logo), grey skirt, shorts or trousers, white polo shirt and no tie.

HAIRCUTS
Whilst we want children to be able to choose their hairstyle we ask that it is not too extreme: no uneven/patterned shaving, natural colours, simple and plain hair bands or bobbles.
All hair past the shoulder (girl’s or boy’s) must be tied up with a simple hairband or bobble. If a child does not have one, then one will be provided.
It is at the Principal’s discretion that any hairstyle or item of clothing may be banned if deemed to be in breach of the uniform policy.
Uniform and book bags can be purchased from Cross Embroidery, details available from the school office.
Watches and stud earrings are the only jewellery permitted in school. These must be removed for PE and swimming. Children are responsible for looking after their own items and must be able to remove watches and earrings themselves.
Please ensure all of your child’s belongings are clearly labelled.
