Year 2 trip to Broughton Grounds Farm

Year 2 classes had a fabulous trip to learn about farming and meet all the farm animals at Broughton Grounds Farm.

They had such fun helping to feed the pigs and hens, preparing the bottles before feeding the lambs and watching sheep being sheared.

The children also helped the farmer to sort the sheep for market through counting the sheep’s teeth and checking their weights. A wonderful learning experience. Thank you Broughton Grounds Farm!
