Jubilee Tree Planting

Tila the Garden Officer from Bridge street Community Garden visited us to help plant two Oak saplings that she kindly donated. The school’s ECO council and Mrs Bell’s Forest school pupils learnt how to plant the trees and also how to look after them afterwards. Everyone said they would take it in turns to keep their new English Oaks (Quercus robur) watered over the next few months.

The trees were planted to support the Queen’s Green Canopy for her Platinum jubilee. Thank you to Tila for visiting us.
