Fantastic, Amazing, Brilliant – our Year 6 Residential!
We had a fantastic time on our first day. We walked our feet off, looked around Everdon and visited a local ancient woodland. There we investigated animal habitats, looked for tracks and played lots of amazing outdoor games. We ate a delicious supper of homemade pizza and salad and chocolate brownie and ice cream followed by playing and running around in the centre’s garden.
Our second day was wet and wonderful! We had a proper experience of making shelters in the woods, surviving torrential rain, playing brilliant team games in the garden and learning about fire safety. We loved toasting marshmallows! This was followed by a delicious meal of sausage casserole and mashed potatoes. Our day finished off with a game of charades and hot chocolate.
It was a brilliant last day at Everdon in the sunshine! A yummy cooked breakfast was followed by orienteering and a picnic in the garden. We have made wonderful memories, spent loads of time outside in the fresh air and eaten delicious food. Everdon, we will miss you!
