Festive Friends cards were fab!

Oxfordshire Age Uk have written to say ‘a big thank you’ to children and staff at Harriers who created such fab Christmas cards for their Festive Friends campaign over the Christmas period. The campaign, supported by many local businesses, charities and individuals, enabled Age UK to hand deliver 1,125 meals and Christmas presents to 939 households across the county.

Oxfordshire Age Uk wrote to say:

‘The finishing touch to the presents were of course the handmade Christmas Cards that were created by school and nursery  children across Oxfordshire… from cotton wool and glitter to computer generated, 6 months old to 14 year olds we were blown away by the magic that these cards brought to the Festive Friends gift. Each handmade card had been signed by a child and many contained a message of hope from the child who had made it. They were incredibly beautiful and done with such care and attention that they brought tears to our team as well as those that were receiving them. A massive thank you to all the schools and nurseries that supported us.‘
