Santa Relay at Harriers a ‘Fundraising Legend’ for Katharine House

Harriers raised an amazing £1820.90!

A huge THANK YOU to all who supported our Santa Relay fundraiser for Katharine House Hospice. Particular thanks to Mrs Stephens for organising our event and to all our parents and community for their generosity.

We are delighted to announce that our fabulous children (and families) raised an impressive £1820.90 when Gift Aid was included! – including one very generous anonymous donation.

Hannah at KHH was not just appreciative but, commented on the generosity of our whole school community!

Our JustGiving page was in the top 10% of fundraisers last month making us a JustGiving ‘Fundraising Legend’!

The event helped spread Christmas cheer throughout the school as well as raising much needed funds for this local charity.

The children ran a set distance (at least 1k), decided by their teacher. They passed the Santa Relay challenge onto the next class by sending them a special Christmas message. It was lots of fun. Each child taking part was given a Santa hat to wear and take home afterwards.
