Times Table Rock Stars

Harriers’ pupils were invited to take part in Maths Week England; we used the opportunity to promote Times Table Rock Stars to help improve the children’s times table knowledge. This friendly competition involved schools from England from Monday 8th November to Thursday 11th November and took place online via play.ttrockstars.com.

For every correct answer to a multiplication or division question, pupils earnt their class a point. The Times Tables Rock Stars platform calculated the class average (the number of correct answers per pupil in the class who play during the competition hours). Winning classes in the school and in the competition as a whole were the ones with the highest average.
